If you are after some American offbeat tourist attractions why not look out for the World’s Largest Chair? It all started in 1905 when the town of Gardner, Massachusetts, erected a twelve-foot-tall mission chair. Since then several US towns have joined the battle and erected giant chairs of various sizes and models.
The Miller’s Office Furniture of Anniston, Alabama, built this thirty-one-foot-tall office chair in 1981 and placed it in a vacant lot next to its store. A spiral staircase led up to its seat. For more information visit http://www.roadsideamerica.com/set/CIVIchair.html
